Safety Reminder for International Students
亲爱的国际学生：
Dear international students：
2024年的学习与生活已经接近尾声，相信每一位同学都在这片充满机遇与挑战的土地上，怀揣着梦想奋力跋涉。然而，在充实自己的学业和尽情体验异国文化的同时，我们必须要郑重提醒大家一些潜在的风险以及应该遵守的规则，以保障自身和他人的安全，并顺利度过在华的留学时光。
The study and life of 2024 is drawing to a close. It is believed that every student has been striving hard with dreams in this land full of opportunities and challenges. Nevertheless, while enriching your studies and fully experiencing the foreign culture, we must seriously remind you of some potential risks and the rules that should be followed to ensure the safety of yourselves and others and to smoothly spend your study abroad time in China.
一、出行报备
Report before Leaving campus
国际学生离开校园须经学院审批，审批通过后方可出行；出行注意安全。International students leaving campus must be approved by faculty and can only travel after approval. Be safe when going out. （Application Method： 风华宁大app）
二、远离毒品
No drugs
严禁参加任何未经允许批准的集体活动，远离毒品，公众场合、校园和公寓内禁止饮酒、禁止吸烟、严禁吵闹喧哗。
Do not participate in group activities without permission. Drugs are strictly prohibited. No heavy drinks and smoking in public places，International Student Apartment and on campus. No gathering and noise making.
三、防电防火
Electricity and Fire Safety
注意用电用火安全，严禁在室内使用电饭煲、电磁炉等大功率电器。出门前，请关掉所有电器电源，拔掉插头，并随手关好门、窗。Pay attention to the safety of electricity and fire. High-power appliances are strictly forbidden to use indoors.Please turn off the electrical appliances, pull out plugs and close doors and windows before going out.
四、远离危险区域
Keep away from dangerous areas
严禁到水库、河流、池塘等危险区域游泳。Swimming in dangerous areas such as reservoirs, rivers and ponds is strictly prohibited.
五、其他注意事项
Other Safety Tips
警惕“三非”问题。非法就业：未获得工作许可前，不得从事任何形式的劳动或兼职。非法入境：确保入境手续合法，避免使用伪造或过期证件。非法居留：遵守签证及居留许可的有效期，及时办理延期或更新手续。Illegal Employment: Do not engage in any form of labor or part-time work.Illegal Entry: Ensure your entry procedures are legal and avoid using forged or expired documents.Illegal Residence: Adhere to the validity of your visa and residence permit, and promptly process extensions or renewals.
交通安全。遵守当地交通规则，过马路时走人行横道，注意车辆行驶方向。乘坐公共交通工具时，选择正规运营车辆，避免乘坐“黑车”。骑自行车或电动车时，务必佩戴头盔，夜间行驶需开启车灯。打车时，建议使用正规打车软件，并将行程信息分享给亲友。Transportation Safety.Abide by local traffic rules, use pedestrian crossings when crossing the road, and be aware of traffic directions.When taking public transportation, choose officially operated vehicles and avoid unlicensed "black cars".When riding bicycles or electric bikes, always wear helmets and turn on headlights at night.When booking a taxi, it is recommended to use official taxi-hailing apps and share your trip information with friends or family.
校内外住宿安全。校内住宿需遵守宿舍管理规定，保持宿舍整洁，注意财物安全，严谨晚归和不归寝室。校外住宿需要经过学校审批同意，租房选择安全可靠的区域，避免偏僻或治安较差的地点。与室友或房东保持良好关系，共同维护住宿环境的安全与和谐。Safety for On-campus and Off-campus Accommodation.For on-campus accommodation, students must abide by dormitory regulations, keep the dormitory tidy, take care of personal property, and strictly adhere to the rules against returning late or not returning to the dormitory at all.Off-campus accommodation requires approval from the school. Students should choose safe and reliable areas for renting and avoid remote or poorly policed locations.Maintain good relationships with roommates or landlords to jointly ensure the safety and harmony of the living environment.
4. 严禁非法集会、严禁非法留宿他人、严禁吸食毒品、严禁酒驾、严禁无证驾驶，严禁从事任何违法违纪活动。Illegal gatherings, illegal accommodation of others, drug use, drunk driving，driving without a license and any illegal activities are strictly prohibited.
5. 在中国境内出行期间如遇到紧急情况，请拨打110报案，同时也请联系学院告知你的详细情况，可以得到相应的帮助。If something emergent happens to you, call 110 and inform faculty for help. （Emergency contact person: Mel；Tel:18758367955）
6. 应格外注意用电用火安全，保管好自己的钱包、护照、钥匙等紧要物品，要有防火、防盗意识。Pay attention to fire and electricity safety. Keep your wallets, passports, keys and other important items, and be aware of fire and theft prevention.
7. 接到陌生电话或短信要求转账汇款或交钱的，请勿相信，切勿通过任何方式转账给任何陌生人。请通过安全渠道购物，不要在微信、QQ等社交软件购买商品，或者转发证件照片等，防止信息泄露和陷入欺诈消费。If you receive an unfamiliar phone call or text message to request transfer, remittance or payment, please don't believe it, and don't transfer money to any stranger by any means. Please shop through secure channels, do not purchase goods on social software such as WeChat, QQ, or forward ID photos, etc., to prevent information leakage and fraudulent consumption.
